**What You Need to Know**:
This is an exciting opportunity for a knowledgeable events organiser, with a keen interest in the energy transition.

As Events Lead, you will be helping the team to deliver strategies that further establish Proserv as the leading specialist in controls technologies. This includes campaigns that highlight our pivot into the renewables industry, particularly offshore wind.

You'll organise global conferences, seminars and exhibitions, Proserv open days, as well as parties and corporate incentive trips. You'll manage the whole process from the planning stage, right through to running the event and carrying out the post-event evaluation.

The role is primarily hands-on and often involves working as part of a team.

**Some of the Key Responsibilities**:

- Research opportunities for new global events/exhibitions
- Coming up with new and innovative ideas - both for events and event promotion
- Liaise with internal clients to find out their exact event requirements
- Produce detailed proposals for events (including timelines, venues, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing and budgets)
- Research venues, suppliers and contractors, then negotiate prices and hire
- Manage and coordinate suppliers and all event logistics (for example, venue, catering, travel)
- Liaise with sales and marketing teams to publicise and promote the event
- Manage all pre-event planning, organising guest speakers and delegate packs
- Coordinate suppliers, handle client queries and troubleshoot on the day of the event to ensure that all runs smoothly and to budget
- Manage a team of staff, giving full briefings
- Organise facilities for car parking, traffic control, security, first aid, hospitality and the media
- Make sure that insurance, legal, health and safety obligations are followed
- Oversee the dismantling and removal of the event and clear the venue efficiently
- Produce post-event evaluation to inform future events
- Global travel to events locations as required

**Who We're Looking For**:
Someone who has previous experience organising events and exhibitions, has excellent organisational skills and can manage multiple projects at once.

Someone who is proficient in Microsoft Office with experience of working to KPIs and has outstanding communication skills with the ability to negotiate who can solve problems, can lead teams and is focussed on providing excellent customer service.

A degree in marketing or hospitality management would be an advantage as would experience in using Adobe Creative Suite.
