**Division info**:
The Landing Gear Market specializes in the design, qualification, manufacture and repair and overhaul of landing gears and flight critical components to a customer base that extends from the OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) to the Operators in both the commercial and military markets.
**Summary of position**:
As a key member of the Global Talent Acquisition team, the Talent Acquisition Specialist is key to recruitment & attraction of best class talent for professional & technical positions for our two (2) divisions supporting recruitment growth initiatives & succession planning. Working under the guidance of the Director of Talent Acquisition (Head Office in Canada), the Talent Acquisition Specialist will provide guidance and support in all recruitment activities to the Senior Management team.
**Main responsibilities**:
- Develop relationships with Hiring decision makers to fully understand the resourcing needs of their areas (Recruitment Intake)
- Manage the process from start to finish, ensuring job are posted in the ATS (Applicant Tracking System)
- Advise on the most appropriate recruitment platforms & strategies for external postings to attract top talent,
- Identify, create, upgrade, and maintain all schools’ relationships (Calendar Event) and external relevant Local Career Events, Career Fairs, coordinating any recruitment events initiative for both Runcorn and Kirby-In-Ashfield.
- Managing the on-boarding process from offer acceptance until successful induction
- Proactively manage the Right to work and references checking services.
- Plan and participate in the Induction process for all new employees to ensure a positive and structured introduction to the business.
- Liaise with advertising agencies for external recruitment support, when required only.
- Monitor the probationary process for new employees to ensure that reviews are held in timely manner by the human resource team.
- Any other tasks relevant to the well conduct of the Hiring Process.
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ practical experience in a recruitment or talent acquisition position, preferably in a manufacturing work environment,
- Practical experience using LinkedIn & Indeed or other recruitment platforms. (Must)
- Experience maintaining a HIRS & or ATS systems.
- Experience multitasking in a fast moving & high-volume environment,
- Excellent communication and ability to prioritize in a changing & fast-paced work environment,
- Result-Driven, organized, self-motivated with desire to constantly improve.
