Defour Partnership Care has the pleasure of working with a very special Scottish Charity recruiting for an Events & Corporate Fundraiser across Scotland.

Main Purposes of the Role

To expand and coordinate the event and corporate fundraising and volunteer network in line with the Charity Strategy and as directed by the Senior Manager to maximise the net income opportunities

**Salary**: £31,875 per annum - 35 hours per week - Home based with travel throughout Scotland - pension - generous annual leave.

Key Responsibilities and Duties of the Role
- Deliver the corporate and community activity annual income and expenditure budget contributing to the overall income within the fundraising strategy. Producing monthly financial reports will be required.
- Maintain and develop existing relationships across Scotland, providing excellent account management to maximise income.
- Design and deliver a bespoke communication and contact strategy (with Marketing and Comms)
- Secure retention of corporate and community supporters.
- Identify and secure new partnerships for example Charity of the Year, CRM and CSR opportunities.
- Secure sponsorship for the Charity events through the development of strong pitches, researching potential sponsors to target and negotiating contracts.
- Act as an ambassador, representing the Charity at external events, including networking and public speaking/presenting.
- Research past, present and prospective corporate and high net-worth individuals and help determine the best, tailored fundraising approach for each.
- Develop new income streams through cause-related marketing opportunities by researching prospects and building relationships.
- Be responsible for own administration and efficiently organise all own activities with support from the fundraising team
- Display strong analytical skills to evaluate activity using the e-tapestry database, with support from the Finance Team
- Recruit volunteers to fulfil roles that underpin the community fundraising strategy and ensure that their induction, references and necessary paperwork (e.g. PVG) is processed properly
- Develop and mentor key volunteers within the Charity branches to be able to champion and manage remote third party events in Scotland
- Support existing volunteers and supporting local volunteer fundraising activity

**Required Skills**:

- Ability to demonstrate excellence in customer care and donor management
- Ability to demonstrate excellent relationship building skills
- Track record of successful community fundraising in either a voluntary or paid capacity (Desirable)
- Experience of recruiting and working with volunteer groups (Desirable)
- Experience in budgeting and planning (Desirable)
- Proven track record of exceeding financial and non-financial targets (Desirable)
- Awareness of data protection regulation (Desirable)
- Awareness of Legal and financial aspects of lotteries, licensing laws etc (Desirable)
- Knowledge of Institute of Fundraising codes of practice (Desirable)
- Educated to at least Higher standard or equivalent life skill
- Familiarity with MS Packages
- Extrovert and friendly demeanour and enjoys working collaboratively
- Strong team worker able to demonstrate leadership and excellent interpersonal skills.Self-motivated, target driven and able to analyse information and make objective decisions based on financial outcomes
- Driving License and ability to travel throughout Scotland.
