An exciting opportunity has now arisen within the Canterbury and Sittingbourne Agency.

**About the role**

As a Commercial New Business Executive your role is critical in providing our clients with a personal service that delivers positive outcomes. By understanding their unique needs, you will develop and maintain strong relationships, identify suitable insurance solutions and ensure exceptional service throughout the journey. Through effective communication and proactive support, you will ensure that our clients feel valued, informed and confident in their insurance coverage. Your focus on delivering a positive customer experience will contribute to the success and reputation of the agency. From generating commercial leads, to fact finding and presenting quotations to clients and cross selling, you’ll drive sales and make results happen.

The successful applicant will be expected to undertake a wide variety of tasks including the following:
Plan, prospect and sell Commercial insurance products

Prepare and present insurance proposals, negotiate terms and conditions, and provide accurate quotations to clients, ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements

Develop and manage, via Microsoft Dynamics, your own pipeline of business that is sufficient to achieve targets

Carry out external sales calls in a compliant and professional manner

Identify and develop cross sell leads for General Insurance Products, Financial Services and other products on offer

Work closely with your line manager, agency and head office staff to understand the risk appetite and prospecting opportunities

Be resilient, charismatic and brilliant with people, you’ll be confident engaging with and influencing a wide range of stakeholders
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills

Be flexible, adaptable and have an openness to new ideas
