**About the role**: This is an exciting opportunity to join an established University Wellbeing Service. As an experienced practitioner you will use your clinical judgement and knowledge to case manage, coordinate and deliver support for students with emerging, acute and enduring mental health conditions. This will include students eligible for Disabled Students’ Allowance. You will help them to manage their mental health alongside their studies, providing appropriate support plans, academic reasonable adjustments, psychoeducation, and referring to other services as needed. This will include partnership working with colleagues across the University as well as external stakeholders such as Police, NHS, local authority and voluntary sector. You will also be a part of departmental initiatives, working to increase the awareness of services available, promoting them, whilst ensuring the student experience is at the centre of all we do.
**About you**: With a relevant degree or qualification, you will be registered with a relevant professional body, alongside considerable and demonstrable depth of experience working with a variety people with mental health conditions. You will have experience of working with case management models or in a client focussed environment, as well as experience of assessing and managing risk and responding proactively to crisis situations involving mental health issues.
