We have placement opportunity available for Human Resources Officer at Alder Hey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust.

Location: Liverpool, L12 2AP

Pay: £11.53 per hour plus accrued holiday pay

The post holder will take responsibility for specific pieces of work as agreed with the HR Business Partner/ HR Manager. To work closely alongside the HR Advisors, in identifying and driving improvements in the management of Sickness Absence across the Trust.

The working hours for this role - Full Time and you would be required to work Weekdays 09:00-17:00 Monday - Friday

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

- Review daily tasks and prioritise the tasks of the team ensuring delivery of services meets the KPIs and other deadlines.
- Timely escalation when sickness absence management is protracted or delayed.
- Liaise with managers and team leads across the Trust to ensure the timely and proactive management of sickness absence.
- Undertake all sickness absence administration, including preparing invite letters, completing early intervention referrals to occupational health, drafting of outcome letters and co-ordination and arrangement of relevant meetings
- Contribute to ensuring that the Trust’s equality and diversity strategy is being implemented appropriately in relation to Sickness Absence Management.
- Timely respond to queries in relation to sickness management policy and procedure and it’s implementation.
- Manage the inputting of sickness absence and occupational health information into ESR system in a timely manner.
- To assist and respond to routine and complex enquiries from internal and external sources relating to sickness absence, referring to divisional HR teams as appropriate.
