My client is a leading UK supplier of stretch fabrics, offering a large stock holding in the UK alongside in-house print facilities. Their client base consists of Dance, Swim, Fashion, Gymnastics manufacturers, from large global companies to Independentcreators. Friedmans offers a wholesale supply service and Funkifabrics a retail online service,

Due to current growth in their team, they are now looking for a driven Finance Office Administrator to join their busy team.

**The role & responsibilities**

This is a really interesting role whereby the Finance & Office Administrator will support the small finance and administration team. With many suppliers and customers, the main part of role is ensuring the purchase ledger and sales ledger accounts are keptup to date, to ensure all supplier payments are made within terms, allocating and producing remittances, purchase invoice entry with accurate VAT and correct nominal ledger allocations, to monitor supplier credit limits and to deal with all queries on supplieraccounts.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Finance**
- Preparation and completion of the general ledger control document following the completion of the monthly GL accounts.
- Preparation of the retrospective monthly cash flow workings.
- Preparation of the retail and industry service profit and loss accounts and retention of the supporting documentation.
- Responsibility for the credit control process and management of bad or overdue debts.
- Preparation of the monthly prepayment schedule and accompanying general ledger entries.
- Credit Control duties carried out daily, including sales ledger reconciliations, credit control debt management, resolving and chasing old queries, implementing specific customer related requirements to reduce invoice queries upon customer’s receipt ofsales invoices
- Reliable reporting across both ledgers is also completed by using mainly Sage 200, Sage 50 line & Excel spreadsheets.
- Bank reconciliations, including all depot bank accounts, credit card, petty cash, invoice finance facility reconciliation & expense accounts. All accruals, prepayments, VAT, CIS and month end accounts to TB are also completed

**Administration**
- Issuing the relevant paperwork to accompany goods.
- Good administration skills
- Loading products on the website and updating
- Handling refunds and returns.
- Feeding relevant content for Office Manager and support senior sales team
- Liaise with internal departments

The is a fast paced and varied role and you have the ability to multitask and learn quickly. There is quite a lot of liaisons between the warehouse and office so effective communication is key. On the job training is provided. They are a very niche business,and they have a great product range.
