**About The Opportunity**:
Phoenix Healthcare Distribution Ltd, a leading pharmaceutical wholesaler is looking to further strengthen its highly successful telesales team calling on our most important customer bases. Driving incremental business opportunities through regular customer contact whilst placing highly attractive offers into a dynamic commodity type marketplace as well as providing enhanced customer service are key requirements of the position.

Based in our Preston Brook, Runcorn office we are looking for highly motivated individuals with an established pharmaceutical sales background and strong customer contacts to join us in order to drive business in this area. A highly competitive package is on offer for a telesales position within a responsive and highly dynamic team.

Your overall responsibility will be to actively drive profitable sales activity to Key Accounts both Nupharm Direct and Numark, through tactical telesales activity, responding to telephone, electronic, or verbal enquiries across generic, PI and OTC product categories. Supporting the completion of price comparisons activity where appropriate to win business.

**Responsibilities**
- Act as a sales and support contact for all designated Key Accounts whether Retail, Wholesale or Central Hub
- Promote customer relationships through expeditious responses to queries whilst participating in any customer meetings as and when required
- Submit any required tenders for supply to Key Accounts
- Map product against PHD system codes to enable quotes to be made
- Interface with all appropriate Phoenix Group Procurement functions, including the Generic, PI and OTC categories to understand pricing parameters and assess market trends
- Be responsible for achieving individual targets and assist in reaching team objectives as assigned by the Nupharm Direct Sales Team Manager
- Assist in the electronic or other mailing of offers or product lists to customers
- Coordinate with Nupharm Direct Trading Facilitator and depot points of contact to set up the operational requirements to meet the demands of the customer
- Maintain high levels of interface with all Phoenix Field forces and the Senior Management within them to ensure there is no duplication or conflict in the approach to customers
- Interface with all other areas of trading within the Phoenix Group to maximize profitability through sharing of prices and market intelligence
- Ensure compliance internally and externally with Good Distribution Practice

Essential Skills/Experience:

- Experience within the pharmaceutical field preferably in a fast moving, high pressure trading or commodity environment
- Strong relationship building pedigree with customers and suppliers
- Experience of working with field sales and telesales

Excellent telephone manner and communicator

Comfortable with all electronic forms of communication relating to order receipt and processing

Ability to calculate percentage and cash profit margin

Exceptional attention to detail, helpful with a positive outlook. Self-motivated

Competent at time management and multitasking

Good team player whilst competent at operating on their own

**Qualifications**

Minimum 5 GCSE’s including Maths and English

Minimum intermediate Microsoft Office in Word, Excel and Outlook.
