We are looking for an Administrator to join us on a 2 month Fixed Term Contract in Carlisle.

As an Administrator you’ll be responsible for providing your local team with administrative support with day to day activities to ensure the smooth running of the Field Operations in your area.

**You will be accountable for**:

- Proactively monitoring courier engagement and satisfaction through phone and written contact to allow Community Delivery Managers to get a better understanding of route causes of operational development areas within the delivery organisation.
- Providing first line telephone support for couriers (and when phone directed from Community Managers) and for Community Delivery Managers to ensure the timely resolution of questions and challenges they may have ensuring the successful delivery of volume.
- Supporting the smooth running of our peak periods by helping with Peak recruitment activity - onboarding, telephone screening, virtual recruitment and training activity to ensure we are operating at full capacity to maintain high levels of customer experience.
- Supporting with the reduction of courier enquires by resolving or escalating any current or outstanding issues and identifying/measuring trends that will allow us to make performance improvements.
- Acting as note taker during meetings as required by the Regional Delivery Manager to ensure that a neutral third party is present.
- Supporting other regions where necessary with adhoc administrative tasks to ensure all regions have full support.
- Analysing and checking regional and local management activity and plans to ensure accuracy and quality is reported daily.
- Planning and organising meetings
- Providing end of journey and performance related administrative and investigation solutions as required

**To be successful in this role you will require the following **

**Qualifications**:

- Computer Literate
- GCSE Maths and English or equivalent

**Knowledge & Experience**:

- A track record of reporting on the progress of remedial actions and guiding management in implementing necessary improvements
- A good/high level of understanding of courier services
- Experience in a senior courier management position
- Previous experience of coaching, supporting and motivating colleagues
- Problem solving and planning effective contingencies and solutions

**Technical & People Skills**:

- Customer Focused approach
- Ability to adapt to different styles and behaviours
- Ability to build strong and effective working relationships with stakeholders
- Strong prioritisation and planning skills and the ability to work as part of a team and with the ability and confidence to work alone
- Strong prioritisation skills with the ability to manage a heavy workload
- Ability to resolve problems when they arise
