Here at Computershare, we are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Onboarding Consultant to join our dynamic People team. As an Onboarding Consultant, you will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for our new hires, enabling them to quickly integrate into our organization. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the success and growth of our company. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive and collaborative environment, with potential for career progression and continuous learning.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner
- Serve as the main point of contact for new hires, providing guidance and support throughout the onboarding journey.
- Understand global background & on-going screening requirements, ensuring checks are correctly assigned and processed according to legislation.
- Ensure all compliance processes and standards are adhered to.
- Monitor and ensure prompt execution of work queues, providing timely resolution to all queries.
- Work to strict deadlines to reduce risk and unnecessary cost to the business.
- Champion and promote self-service within the business.
- Collaborate within the People Team to better understand processes and contacts for escalations.
- Manage own allocation of work whilst being available to help across the team when required.
- Review work processes to identify areas for improvement and progress actions to improve outcomes for employees and managers.
