**Summary**:

- The Defence Cyber Academy has three aims: to ensure Defence can deliver a strategically relevant cyber workforce, informed by policy, industrial, and academic inputs; to undertake national-level engagement (across Government, industry, and academia) to ensure MOD’s cyber workforce is prepared for future challenges; and to undertake international engagement to promote the UK’s interests in the cyber domain. With stakeholders including higher education providers, national-level academic and international partners, the role has a broad and diverse portfolio to develop and manage.**Job description**:
**Responsibilities**:

- All applicants should be aware that due to this being a new post established in an exciting growth area for Defence, the role objectives and responsibilities are likely to change as the Defence Cyber Academy evolves.
- The main responsibilities of the role are:
- Management & development of Defence Cyber Aptitude Assessment and its approach/use.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders understanding sS, specialist cyber units pipeline requirements and devise talent strategies to achieve objectives.
- Work with cross-government/frameworks teams, to incorporate current competency data to pipeline requirements and learning journey approach.
- Work with members of the Defence Cyber Academy Cross Government, National & International teams in order to ensure talent management and learning pathways are considered in all their engagements.
- Regularly track, report and forecast pipeline data to all applicable stakeholders.
- Manage, develop and where necessary implement talent management tools & processes, incorporating best practice approaches.
- In collaboration with Joint User, engagement with MOD and cross-Government to understand all Cyber Leaning pathways, coordinating talent management.
- Deputise for SEO Defence Professions Coordinator as required.
