Logistics and Purchasing Co-ordinator

The Logistics and Purchasing Co-ordinator, reporting to the GB Warehouse team leader the successful applicant will join a busy department based at our warehouse in Scotland, duties will include but are not limited to;

**What you will be doing**:

- To accept deliveries on behalf of all Capita Departments and Partners who hold stock at your location and to advise the appropriate colleague of all arrivals
- Goods receipt against delivery notes and book in items where appropriate on our Remedy Database - ensuring to query any anomalies
- Allocation of equipment to Engineering Teams as per the Resource Planning Schedule for upcoming visits and appointments recording all movements on the CMDB
- To update all changes of inventory as per the engineers completed reports by allocating or returning equipment to stock on the Remedy database
- Raising quotations and liaising with suppliers to ensure accuracy of items required
- Creating internal purchase requests and providing supporting information to finance
- Placing and managing equipment orders on our suppliers through to delivery
- To manage accurate inventory data whilst ensuring minimum stock levels are maintained
- To work with other teams and colleagues to ensure appropriate forecasts are completed and accurate information is provided to the Finance department
- Potential to move stock between engineers and locations physically and not just digitally which may involve a drive to locations across Scotland (not essential)
- Potential key holder to open and secure the premises after successful probationary period
- Keep stock and asset registers accurate and provide financial data quarterly

**What we are looking for**:

- Experience in a logistics/stockroom environment preferred but not essential
- Excellent communication skills
- Skilled in Microsoft Programmes (especially Excel) and able to adapt to internal systems
- Flexible and happy to accommodate requirements when needed
- Willing to learn and become an important member of the team
