**Who is the Christian Medical Fellowship (CMF)?**
With approximately 5,000 members throughout the UK and Ireland, CMF is first of all, Christian. Our members are drawn from all Christian denominations and are united by our faith in Jesus Christ and our belief in the Bible as God's word.
Second, we are medical, united by our calling as doctors, nurses, midwives, medical and nursing students and other professionals working in healthcare.
Third, we are a 'fellowship', working together to encourage and inspire each other to fulfil our calling and serve Christ together in this generation.
**What’s our vision?**
One million people access the NHS every 24 hours; it is the fifth-biggest employer on earth.
What might God do with a movement of Christian health professionals who live and speak for Him? CMF unites and equips Christian doctors, nurses, and midwives to live and speak for Jesus Christ.
**The opportunity**
This is an exciting time to join CMF as our volunteer networks across the British Isles are expanding rapidly. You can bring your passion to envision, inspire, equip and empower Christian health professionals to make a difference for God across our nation.
We have two networks of dedicated volunteers across the UK: regional ‘Catalyst Teams’ and teams of ‘Associates’. Our Associates give up one or two days per week to serve the CMF community in different areas; from running networks for different specialities and developing and delivering training, to growing local workplace fellowships.
All our volunteers are health professionals who have a passion to support and equip other Christian health professionals to live and speak for Jesus Christ.
The Head of Volunteers will oversee, support, develop and expand these networks and teams of volunteers across the British Isles, meeting regularly with the Catalyst Teams and Associates (online and in person) to offer support, supervision, training, mentoring, cast vision and encourage feedback. Working closely with our staff team in the field and the Membership and Communications departments, you will report directly to the CEO.- This role involves travel within the British Isles and occasional travel abroad._

How to apply_**
Depending on the level of interest in this role, we may hold initial interviews by Zoom / Teams, followed by in person interviews early August.
Ideally, we are looking for the role holder to start as soon as possible, so they can support us at one of our busiest times.
**Please note**: satisfactory references and evidence of the correct permission to work in the UK will be required before the successful applicant could take up the post.
**Still have questions, or would like more info before you apply?
