**ROLE PURPOSE**:
The Programme Administrators primary duties will be carried out in collaboration with the other staff within the Registry department, and the Education Department in ACM’s approach to the management and coordination of assessments, boards and awards. This is a support role with a broad scope across the Education function at ACM, the role will be based onsite at the ACM Guildford campus, some travel between campus sites might be required.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Respond to student queries via the Assessment central helpdesk;
- Answer calls from students with assessment-related queries;
- Provide general administrative support to assessment and programme operations functions across Higher Education;
- Distribute mass communications as directed by the Programme Operations Manager or Registrar;
- Act as Clerk to the Assessment Board, Progression Board and any relevant department meetings;
- Provide administrative support to the Pathway Leaders and any other programme-related activities as required;
- Distribute Board and Panel outcomes;
- Data administration of grades, including data-checking the board report prior to the event, adding in assessment attempt recommendations;
- Preparing sample work for External Examiner;
- Quality checking certificates against conferment lists and distributing certificates per ACM’s procedure;
- Working with the wider Registry team to reconcile student data and information across all ACM systems, with particular responsibility for Extenuating Circumstances, Reasonable Adjustments and Academic Misconduct;
- Attending open days to talk about assessments and progression;
- Updating the relevant pages and functions within the Canvas Virtual Learning environment relating to assessments;
- Working with the Additional Needs and Disabilities Coordinator to ensure Reasonable Adjustments are logged and applied to eligible students.

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**

**_Essential_**
- Experienced administrator;
- Experience of educational working practices;
- Experience of problem solving;
- Experience of dealing with sensitive casework;
- Awareness of data protection, freedom of information and consumer rights legislation;
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop effective working relationships at all levels across the organisation;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills including report writing;
- Proven organisational and planning skills;
- Ability to work as part of a team;
- Proactive and flexible attitude to work;
- Proven ability of working well under pressure, to deadlines and with mínimal supervision;
- Good IT skills using MS packages, Google Suite and databases, with particular skills in Excel;
- Good time management skills, with the ability to manage simultaneous projects to deadlines;
- Methodical and accurate approach - meticulous attention to detail.
