**Position: Counselling Administrator**
**Hours**:Part Time, 14 hours over two days or 15 over three days per week
**Salary**:£8280 per annum 14 hours a week £8871 15 hours a week (FTE £20,700)
**Location**:Based in Guildford
**Accountable to**: Business Support Manager

RASASC are recruiting for a part time counselling administrator to support our Counselling Coordinator Counselling Group Facilitator and the day-to-day delivery of our services. You will get to work with a small but friendly and dynamic team with a passion for supporting people in difficult times.
RASASC is a registered charity which has been providing support to survivors of rape and sexual abuse of all genders (both recent and non-recent) and young people aged over 13, from across Surrey since 1992.
As well one-to-one counselling, group support and youth and family counselling we also provide an Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (ISVA) Service and a national Telephone Helpline.
Volunteers are an important part of the work we do. Volunteers staff our Helpline and our qualified counsellors work on a voluntary basis with survivors of rape and sexual abuse.
**Administrator**
The Counselling Administrator will support the Counselling Coordinator and Counselling Group Facilitator in the day-to-day delivery of our work including one to one counselling and group work.
**Key tasks**:
- Processing referrals into the counselling service
- Processing counselling assessments and supervision notes
- To assist in allocating clients to the new session therapy group programme
- Liaising with clients and facilitators and follow up on enquires as needed
- To assist in providing all documents for the group facilitators
- Copying training materials for group and counselling training sessions
- Inputting Counselling information into our electronic databases
- Assisting with recruitment and personnel checks
- Answering incoming calls, including calls from survivors
- General office support including banking cheques and sourcing office supplies
**Experience**
Essential
- Good organisational skills with proven ability to prioritise workload
- Good communication skills, written and verbal
- Ability to deal with information in a confidential manner
- Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
Desirable
- Good relationship and interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with a diverse range of people
