As the EPR Benefits Lead you will be responsible for supporting the EPR Programme reporting to the EPR Solutions Architect in collaboration other stakeholders to identify, monitor and report benefits and opportunities within the EPR Programme that will impact quality, productivity and continuous improvement throughout the organisation.

The post-holder will work with Project Managers and the Business Change team through the lifecycle of the programme to identify, capture, document and monitor benefits and articulate benefit realisation through the tracking process.

The post-holder will need to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, an enquiring approach and the ability to work autonomously with a passion for improving processes for the better. The EPR Benefits lead will need to be able to challenge, reason and discuss benefits aspects with key stakeholders to ensure an aligned approach as this will be vital to ensure benefits identification and evidencing.

The EPR Benefits Lead will work with the EPR Programme Team to ensure that benefits are considered throughout the lifecycle of every project and work stream within the programme and into service through implementing an adaptation of APMG's 5 stage approach to benefits management.
- Lead the identification and validation of benefits, and contribute to the identification and validation benefits
- Develop a high-level plan for the realisation of quality and financial benefits in a way that supports the Trusts strategic objectives
- Track achievement of benefits against the EPR programme and the delivery of change required, that lead to successful delivery of those benefits.
- Work with the EPR Solutions Architect and Programme Manager to implement the benefits realisation plan, assisting in the redesign of processes to achieve significant efficiency or productivity gain.
- Hold overall accountability for monitoring the scope and progress of the benefits against the benefits realisation plan; reporting progress and expectations to the programme board.

- Lead the identification and validation of benefits, and contribute to the identification and validation benefits

- Work alongside the Business Change team to review and design the “as is” and “to be” EPR programme including but not limited to process mapping and organisational design.
- Consider best practice from national guidance and blueprints might be introduced as part of the programme, clearly articulated to the programme board the options, risks and benefits for informed decision making.
- Reporting to the EPR Programme Board on benefits baselining, planning and realisation.
- Act as an ambassador for the Trust’s EPR Programme at all times
- Initiate, arrange, chair and/or participate in meetings between programme colleagues and/or the EPR supplier to discuss and resolve areas of concern for the Benefits Plan.
- Proactively monitor how benefits are going to be delivered upon go live during the configuration and testing phases of the implementation.
- Advise and give recommendations to the EPR Programme Board on EPR benefits and realisation.
- Identify benefits related risks, report and manage project risks and take appropriate steps to mitigate all identified risks and issues.
