About our opportunity:
Supervise and lead a team of HGV drivers, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.

What you will be doing:

- Coordinate and execute the timely and safe transportation of goods using Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs).
- Supervise and lead a team of HGV drivers, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of HGVs, ensuring vehicles are well-maintained and meet safety standards.
- Collaborate with logistics coordinators and operational staff to streamline operations and resolve any transportation-related challenges.
- Ensure all drivers uphold compliance with road safety regulations, company policies, and relevant industry standards.
- Foster a positive team culture by promoting effective communication and teamwork among HGV drivers.

About you:
**Qualifications**
- Valid HGV driving license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as an HGV driver, with a track record of safe and efficient driving.
- Leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Strong organisational and planning skills to optimize delivery schedules.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with team members and logistics personnel.
- Knowledge of road safety regulations and transport industry standards.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and unforeseen challenges.
- High level of professionalism and a commitment to customer service.
- Any additional certifications or training in logistics and transportation management is a plus.
