We are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated r.i to join our team on a part-time basis (1-2 days per week).

**Requirements**:

- A level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (Residential Childcare).
- A minimum of 2 years experience in managing a home that carries a rating of good or above.
- Knowledge of children's home regulations and quality standards.
- Excellent knowledge of Ofsted requirements.
- Excellent leadership and management skills with a proven track record of developing and improving services.
- Experience in writing, developing and updating policies and procedures in line with current legislation.
- A full driving licence

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Steer home towards Ofsted registration including preparation of the home inspection.
- Develop relationships and links with partner agencies.
- To be the Ofsted RI for the children's home and act on behalf of the organisation to ensure the home meets relevant requirements set out in legislation.
- Provide effective leadership and management of the home.
- Ensure a high standard of consistent care and service in accordance with legislation and standards and the policy and procedures of the registered provider.
- Assist in the recruitment process.
- Display good commercial acumen to develop and produce operationally viable and cost effective solutions to business development opportunities.
- Implement quality assurance to monitor and evaluate standards of the individual and of the team performance, to support the company to achieve its objectives to continously improve on quality.
- A strong commitment to the safeguarding, Foster positive relationships between staff, children, and families, ensuring the best outcomes for each children's long term Care and development.
