Occupational Therapist Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing specialist occupational therapy services to individuals with learning disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy plans to promote independence and well-being
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify occupational therapy needs and goals
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support
- Provide education and training to individuals, families, and caregivers on occupational therapy techniques and strategies
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of occupational therapy services
- Registration with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Therapy or equivalent
- Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
