**_Exciting times here at BT_** As part of our Better Workplace Programme, the role is currently in Bristol at our Capricorn building but soon will be our state of the art Assembly building within walking distance of Bristol Temple Meads Station.
**Why does this Job Matter?**
Colleagues are the heart of BT and BT wouldn’t be the same without them and that is why this role matters. You will be the Subject Matter Expert to complete HR processes, and transactions and generally support our colleagues through the whole colleague lifecycle.
Support teams as well as support your Team Leader, including supporting resolving any escalations. Part of this role also holds responsibility for cyclical activity such as Team Member's Pay Review, Manager's Pay Review and Bonus. You will be working very closely with Awarding Managers and HR Business partners to ensure everything happens when it needs to and is in line with the process, policy & budgets associated with the review. You will manage escalations & exceptions and be the point of contact for the business area you support, check through any errors, and solve issues along the way.
You will have the opportunity to support all areas of BT but will become a specialist in one of the below:
- Openreach
- Consumer (Including EE & PlusNet)
- Technology, Global and Corporate Functions
- Enterprise This means you will create great working relationships with colleagues for the area you support & build specialist knowledge of how they function, allowing us to deliver an even better colleague experience.

- **Problem Solving & Communication**: Ability to unpick complex issues, identify the cause and propose a solution with the ability to clearly articulate advice/resolution in a way that our customers will understand written and verbally.
- **IT Competency**: Able to learn/pick up how to use internal systems as there are a variety of systems to use within the role.
