We have partnered exclusively with our Bristol based client to find their new Colleague Experience Lead to be part of a HR team who are focused creating a people-centric approach in an established commercial business.

The role will work proactively and progressively with the HR Team and other leaders in the organisation, to develop and maintain the ‘end to end’ overall colleague experience. Areas of responsibility include maximising colleague engagement, ensuring diversity and inclusion throughout the organisation, bringing fresh thinking to areas such as recruitment and induction / onboarding, designing and delivering colleague wellbeing policies, and ensuring that colleagues have a voice within the organisation.

With an obvious passion for actively improving colleague engagement, diversity and wellbeing, the Colleague Experience Lead (CEL) is responsible for the consistent delivery of key performance indicators (KPI’s) and supporting the Organisation Development Lead in driving through key people strategies and ensuring that the overall colleague working experience is recognised as being exceptional. Working for a collaborative and driven Director of People with clear vision of success, this role offers the chance to be part of HR team which is focused on excellence.

**The job**
- Supporting, designing and implementing people strategies that assist the organisation in achieving its overall aims in delivering recognised, exceptional initiatives aimed at engagement, employee retention, job satisfaction, and innovation.
- Driving policies to ensure a genuine inclusive approach, advising on fair and equitable frameworks throughout the colleague experience ‘life cycle’ and carrying out impact analysis throughout this life cycle to determine what works and which areas require improving.
- Monitor colleague engagement through surveys, culture studies and other recognised methods to determine how effective policies are and use relevant data to analyse the effectiveness of people policy and practises.
- Design and implement effective communication strategies regarding any changes involving people and generally to ensure that colleagues feel they have a voice in the business, are listened to and that their opinions and ideas matter.
- Ensure that colleagues have a sense of purpose to their work and value their time in the organisation.
- Work with the Health & Safety team and HRBP’s to design and implement wellbeing strategies that actively reduce absence in the organisation and encourage colleagues to be more aware of their general wellbeing and mental health.
- Be proactive in providing meaningful reports as necessary, to help the Director of People and Organisational Development Lead in managing any risks associated with colleague wellbeing and ensure sickness absence is minimised.

**The Person Specification**
- CIPD (Level 7) qualified in general HR practice or demonstrable equivalent HR experience.
- Sound working knowledge of employee relations and HR best practice with regards to employee engagement, onboarding and wellbeing.
- A thorough understanding of the communication and internal PR requirements associated with managing change.
- Organised, with the ability to project manage new initiatives through to full implementation.
- Demonstrable and wide-ranging experience in delivering wellbeing, diversity and employee engagement strategies in a similar environment.
