**Hiyacar’s purpose is to connect drivers to a car when and where they want one.** Our cities are full of underused cars so we have to be smarter about mobility. We need fewer cars used more efficiently and a new model of car access, not car ownership. Cars depreciate and lose money--they are liabilities not assets. The Business Development Representative will become a product expert, responsible for consulting with and qualifying inbound prospects to generate pipeline for our sales team. We are looking for a self-motivated teammate with high social intelligence and a natural inclination for selling.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Fostering and building rapport with potential clients and maintaining and strengthening our relationships with existing clients.
- Identifying key decision makers whilst developing and qualifying new business opportunities within the fleet and shared mobility market.
- Driving sales growth and creating a new business pipeline for Business Development Managers.
- Demonstrating our platform value by supporting the Business Development team with in-person and online product demonstrations.
- Preparing and delivering proposals.
- Working closely with our marketing and sales teams, following up on a variety of proactive sales activities.

**We are looking for someone that**:

- Has 1 year in a Sales or Business Development Representative role and/or 1 year in sales.
- Must thrive in a customer-facing environment, and have excellent presentation skills.
- Has excellent written and oral communication skills, is very personable and persuasive.
- Is a true self-starter, who is goal-oriented and driven to provide customers with the best solution to their problem.
- Having previous SaaS experience is an advantage.
- Having previous Mobility experience is also an advantage.
- Holding a full UK driving licence with at least one years driving experience is required for insurance purposes.

**Education**:

- A-Level or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Sales: 1 year (preferred)
- Business development: 1 year (preferred)
