**Who will you be working for**:
Agility is delighted to be working with a well-respected client in the Lancaster Area. A leading company in the Leisure sector, they are known for offering a range of great benefits for their staff and approachable management who are keen to see their staff develop. They are looking for a brilliant people person to act as their HR Officer and help drive the HR function forward.
**What will you be doing**:
- Acting as the first point of contact for all HR enquiries and using your interpersonal skills to advise and reassure staff on a variety of issues across the entire employee life cycle
- Support managers with the design and implementation of HR policies with the shared goal of delivering an impactful HR service that all staff can easily access
- Produce reports to give managers greater understanding of their departments functionality such as leave reports and training reports
- Guide managers on Employee Relations such as performance management, grievances, and sickness/absence to build their confidence and help create a supportive culture
- Ensure any documentation relating to HR is completed in line with company and external standards
- Draft and distribute vital documentation to assist in the onboarding process and creating personnel files as part of their welcome to the company
**What will you need for this role...**
- Have a proven ability to manage your own workload and balance different tasks throughout your day
- Have a CIPD qualification or equivalent experience in HR and driving processes forward
- Are a confident advisor and can guide staff on a wide range of internal matters and casework as needed
- Enjoy a diverse role where original solutions and creativity are a strength, experience in a multi-site setting is also advantageous
- Can handle sensitive situations with discretion and tact utilising your strong communication skills
