**About the role**:
This Secondary SEND School, based in Blyth is looking to appoint a passionate **Learning Support Mentor **to work in Key Stage 3 and 4 classes on a full-time basis. Working in this Secondary SEND School as part of an established team, the desired **Learning Support Mentor **will be working on a small class sized basis with pupils with SEND including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) and challenging behaviour. This full time **Learning Support Mentor **role is long term from February ongoing with the possibility of a permanent vacancy for the right person.

**Requirements**:
To be considered for the role of Learning Support Mentor you will:

- Experience of working with primary or secondary school aged children.
- Experience of working with pupils with SEND.
- Previous experience of working with challenging behaviour.
- Ability to adapt to fast paced situations.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

- Relevant experience
