The School and Role
This Primary SEN School, based in Northumberland is looking to appoint a passionate Key Stage 1 Learning Support Assistant to work in Key Stage 1 or 2 classes on a full-time basis. Working in this Primary SEND School as part of an established team, the desired Key Stage 1 Learning Support Assistant will be working on a small class sized basis with pupils with SEND including Autism, Speech, Language and Communication Needs, Learning Disabilities, Social, Emotional or Mental Health (SEMH) and Associated Behavioural Difficulties. This full time Key Stage 1 Learning Support Assistant role is long term from September ongoing with the possibility of a permanent vacancy for the right person. The school is a happy, safe and supportive environment where everyone is valued equally and nurtured to learn and thrive.
Requirements
The desired Key Stage 1 Learning Support Assistant will have;
-          Experience of working with primary and/or secondary school aged children
-          Experience of working with pupils with SEND
-          A passion for the progress of SEND primary school pupils
-          An ability to work as part of a team
