Job Advert Description

**Experienced within recruitment and administration?** This is an opportunity to join the recruitment team at North Wales Police who are responsible for recruiting and on-boarding Police Officers, Police Staff, Special Constables and volunteers.

We are recruiting for a full time, permanent post.

This role will provide you with the opportunity to join our organisation and make a difference in a role where you'll get to work with other Welsh forces to deliver the national programme.

This role is hybrid, meaning the team work from home and attend the office on a weekly rotational basis, for meetings and to conduct biometric testing. The team all come in to the office every Tuesday together, as mentioned above on a rotational/need basis as well.

**For training you will need to work from the office for the first four - six weeks.**

**The role and you**

Other duties will include, but not be limited to;
- Being aware and abreast of recruiting trends and best practices
- Organising and managing the interview, selection and closing process
- Screening, hiring and selection in accordance with employment law and regulations
- Personal records are updated, accurate, maintained & secure
- Dealing efficiently with internal and external enquiries
- Representing the Recruitment team, promoting career opportunities at internal and external events, both face to face and online

**What you need to apply**

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, has excellent organisational skills and is an effective communicator with experience of dealing with people at all levels.

We would want you to be comfortable making decisions independently and be proficient in Microsoft Office with previous experience of providing general administrative support and the ability to prioritise work and manage time efficiently.

You should have a positive approach and continuous improvement ethos and enjoy change.
