This role is a fixed-term opportunity designed to fulfill the requirements of the service.
The primary objective of this position is to collaborate with the Central Area Safeguarding Team, delivering thorough administrative assistance to enhance service efficiency.
The individual in this role will be tasked with providing proficient and effective clerical and administrative support to a team of professionals. Responsibilities include overseeing the team's operational schedule, ensuring that reports are completed and submitted within established timelines. The position necessitates the coordination and execution of office protocols, requiring exceptional organizational skills and a solid understanding of administrative systems. The post holder will frequently serve as the initial point of contact, necessitating clear communication and liaison abilities.
The role involves managing and prioritizing one's own workload while exercising initiative. The post holder will work collaboratively within a community-based team and provide coverage during staff absences. Duties also include taking telephone messages, relaying information, and arranging meetings.
Key Responsibilities
- We are looking for a qualified Band 3 Administrator to join our Safeguarding Team, working hours per week over three days. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to deliver a strictly confidential full administrative service, utilizing electronic communication, computers, and databases to support the effective execution of the role while maintaining complete discretion when interacting with the team and external agencies. Strong time management and communication skills are essential for success in this position. If you appreciate a diverse workload, can meet deadlines, and have the capability and motivation to work within a dynamic Safeguarding Team engaged with partner agencies, we welcome your interest.
- Welsh language proficiency is desirable for this position; however, applications from both English and/or Welsh speakers are encouraged.
