My client a successful global manufacturer based near Warminster is looking to recruit a Purchasing manager for their successful modern site located just off the A303.

This is a Monday to Friday role paying a salary of £35k plus benefits

The Role
To define the procurement strategy of the business, delivering optimal costs and stock holding alongside outstanding supplier performance and availability.

**Responsibilities**:
1.Placement of all key supplier POs ensuring high service levels at optimal stock value
2.Overall accountability for PO management
3.Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers.
4.Monitoring and management of overall import processes and associated costs
5.New supplier sourcing for greater liquidity
6.Conducting annual supplier audit cycle
7.Overall accountability for supplier information in references tab in WM
8.Ensuring optimal stock value - Maximise commercial benefit of MOQs and MOVs
9.Using commodities information to better inform our purchasing decisions and negotiations
10.Constantly evaluating the supplier base, develop and maintain full secondary supplier database for all key items wherever possible
11.Introduce and manage supplier OTIF data and metric reporting
12.Working with the Product Manager on Service class calculations
Key skills required for Role.
1.Analytical with Excellent IT skills
2.Good problem solver with an eye for detail
3.Experience in a Buying/Supply chain role ideally gained from within a manufacturing sector
4.Team player who is able to collaborate effectively and work across multiple departments
5.CIPS qualified - Level 4
Benefits - Salary £35,000, Working hours (39) 8.30am - 5.15pm (early finish 4.15pm Fridays), Holidays 25 days, Pension scheme contribution 5% from company, Life Cover. Sick pay. Long Service Awards with additional holiday. Quarterly bonus
