ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER - WARMINSTER | £11.50 per hour

We are in search of a candidate who can motivate and guide the store team through effective communication, management, and strategic planning.

  • Champion customer satisfaction by implementing innovative strategies to create an exceptional retail experience.
  • Consistently uphold high standards on the shop floor and in all operational areas to establish a preferred destination for customers, donors, and volunteers.
  • Ensure effective stock management and rotation of all merchandise.
  • Maintain organized and efficient backstage operations while adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Assist in training, motivating, and managing volunteers, ensuring they are equipped to prepare and display goods, deliver excellent customer service, and uphold cleanliness standards.
  • Actively promote and facilitate volunteer recruitment, maintaining a schedule that ensures the shop operates during all designated hours.
  • Identify and propose areas for operational improvement.
  • Execute accurate financial procedures, banking, and administrative tasks as required.
  • Engage in ongoing education, training, and performance reviews, attending meetings as necessary.

WORKING HOURS

This role is part-time, with a commitment of 15 hours per week across 2 days within a 7-day period. Regular weekend availability is essential due to the nature of the position.

ABOUT YOU

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Mathematics and English.
  • A strong team player with the ability to inspire others.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Customer-oriented with a positive and energetic demeanor.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience in retail or charity shop environments.
  • Previous management experience.
  • Possession of a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
