**Welsh Language Support Officer**:
**3 x posts available (including 1 maternity cover)**:
**Part time (32 hours per week) and fixed term until March 2024**:
**Salary scale 5: £25,814 - £28,343 per annum (pro rata)**:
**Welsh Language Essential (written and oral)**:
**Job Purpose**: To work as part of the Welsh team, promoting and encouraging the use of Welsh language within the classroom on a daily basis. To support learners with all aspects of Welsh development.

In this exciting role you will offer opportunities for Welsh speakers and learners to learn, use or improve their Welsh language skills by facilitating informal programmes of activities and supporting them to successfully complete bilingual/Welsh-medium assessments. You will liaise with local and national practitioners to ensure vocational relevance and work with Cyfleoedd to develop further Welsh language placement, training or employment opportunities.

The Welsh Language Support Officers will work with departments of priority areas namely Health and Social Care, Services to People and Creative Arts.
