Accounts Assistant Part-time

Grafton Banks Finance are supporting a Hove based client with a permanent, part-time Accounts Assistant role. Working 3 days a week, this role within a small finance team has opportunity to study AAT and gain experience within budgeting and management accounts.Reporting into the Finance Manager, duties will include:
- Processing invoices
- Credit Control and payment allocations, ensuring payments are made within the terms of their agreements
- Managing customer and client queries
- Service charges
- Bank reconciliations
- Accounts payable - processing payments
- Assisting with the preparation of budgets and forecasting
- Ad hoc support for the finance manager
Skills and qualifications desired:
- 1-2 years minimum experience within a accountancy focused role.
- Desire to study AAT (not essential)
- Good IT skills - confident Excel user.
- Strong communication and numeracy skills.
Please note this role will be full-time in the offices, you will need to be based in the local area or happy to commute to office location.
