**The Role**
As a Part-Time Administrative Assistant, you will be a vital part of our team, handling diverse tasks that keep our training programs running smoothly. From answering telephones and managing student documentation to coordinating training room setups and providing basic IT support, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our organisation.
This part time role will be 20 hours per week, Monday - Friday (working hours to be agreed) with the potential for increased hours and will take place at our training centre at YBN, 7&8 Delta Bank Road, Gateshead, Tyne & Wear, NE11 9DJ.
**Responsibilities & Duties**
- Answering telephones and managing general enquiries
- Receipt and invoice collation and basic financial record-keeping
- Student documentation management, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Printing and postage duties
- Training room setup and coordination
- Scheduling appointments and managing calendars
- Coordinating travel arrangements as needed
- Maintaining an organised filing system for training materials and documents
- Basic IT skills for troubleshooting minor technical issues
**Qualifications & Skills**

- **Confidentiality**: Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
**Desirable**
- **Previous Administrative Experience**: Experience in a similar administrative role, preferably in an educational or training setting.
- **IT Troubleshooting**: Advanced skills in troubleshooting minor technical issues, such as printer or computer problems.
- **Event Coordination**: Experience in coordinating events, including training room setup and logistics.
- **Travel Coordination**: Familiarity with making travel arrangements, including booking flights and accommodations.
- **Record Keeping**: Experience in maintaining accurate and organised records, including student documentation.
- **Initiative**: Proactive approach to identifying areas for improvement and implementing efficient solutions.
**Salary**: £40,000.00 per year
