Payroll Assistant

Great opportunity for an experienced Payroll Assistant and Bookkeeper to join a small but established accountancy firm in the St Austell area.
This a unique role that incorporates Bookkeeping, Payroll Support and Admin duties to be balanced across the week.
- Payroll Support - timely administration and processing of multiple payrolls using Sage Payroll.
- Bookkeeping - general bookkeeping duties and processing of VAT returns using Xero.
- Admin Support - providing support to the office in respect to day to day admin and switchboard cover when necessary.
Necessary skills, experience and qualifications:
- Time-served experience of providing bookkeeping services.
- AAT qualification (desirable but not essential)
- Sound knowledge of Sage Payroll & Xero (desirable bit not essential)
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work as part of team and solo when necessary.
