**About Our Client**:
This company is a large retail enterprise with numerous outlets across the nation. It operates in the retail industry and is a respected player in the market. They are seeking a payroll administrator to join them on a Temp
- Perm basis.

As a Payroll Administrator you will be responsible for:

- Manage and process payroll for all employees.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and employment legislation.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee payroll queries.
- Coordinate with the HR department for new hires, terminations and pay adjustments.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and prepare reports.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end reports and statements.
- Collaborate with the accounting team for payroll reconciliations.
- Participate in payroll system upgrades and testing.

**The Successful Applicant**:
A successful Payroll Administrator should have:

- A strong understanding of payroll procedures and legislation.
- Proficiency in payroll software.
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
- A positive team player attitude and a high level of discretion.
- A relevant qualification in accounting or finance is desirable.
