**To be part of the Street Lighting Team, carry out routine street lighting repairs and maintenance to the highway network, to include street lighting columns, illuminated signs and bollards. To assist with response to emergencies and incidents on the network.**

**The Role**

- **To develop skills, knowledge and experience working in the Street Lighting Team**:

- **To work across the Cheshire East Highways network and gain experience and further education and skills within the Street Lighting Team.**:

- **To work alongside experienced Electricians and Operatives replacing, repairing and maintaining Street Lighting Equipment.**:

- **To work towards NVQ Level 2/3 for Highway Electrical Work Public Lighting**:

- **Other Ad Hoc duties to fulfil the requirement of the role**

**About You**

- **Functional Skills (Level 2 / GCSE) in English and Maths are NOT essential, but will be required prior to completion of the apprenticeship**:

- **Basic understanding of health and safety requirements**:

- **Ability to deal effectively with peers, client representatives and the public.**:

- **The ability to work as part of a team**:
