Reporting to the Registered Manager, in accordance with established guidelines.

The Referral Clerk receives, records and processes brokerage and private referrals.

Determines availability in conjunction with the area coordinator, requests, receives, records, stores and collates supporting service user documentation.

Liaise closely with Brokerage Department and Key Workers to ensure needs are met in relation to availability of packages.

Searching for and/or entering related data into the computerised information system.

Responsible for receiving, recording and distribution of all documentation in relation to service users through a central referrals system.
- **Education and Experience**
- accurate keyboard skills and proven ability to enter data at the required speed
- knowledge of correct spelling, grammar and punctuation
- knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures
