**About the role**

**LIVE **WORK** LEAD**

You will work with the Payroll and HR Systems Development Manager to identify, coordinate and lead work across HR&OD to ensure that the ORACLE solution and other HR systems are effective and efficient and deliver the outcomes and benefits identified.

Acting as a specialist single point of contact for the development and improvement of solutions in ORACLE and other HR systems you will ensure we fully utilise them to support the delivery of the Councils business plan and the priorities of the workforce strategy.

You will provide day to day oversight and direction for the implementation and ongoing development of the new ORACLE helpdesk functionality, ensuring relevant data is captured to enable the analysis of trends. You will identify opportunities for improvement and work with colleagues across the teams to implement, test and review these with an aim for increased self-service and customer satisfaction, as well as improved insight around HR&OD performance.

**About you**

You will have a degree or equivalent skills and experience within a relevant area and the ability to demonstrate significant level of knowledge and skills in a relevant ERP system (e.g., ORACLE HCM) and be able to evidence identifying, developing and implementing improvements to processes which deliver value to the HR&OD.

In addition to this to this you will need to be resilient, demonstrate the ability to respond and adapt quickly to challenges and have the tenacity to gain agreement and follow through on delivery of plans. Working collaboratively and respectfully you will have the skills to be able to challenge constructively to ensure successful outcomes and champion change.
