Overview:
The IT Business Relationship Lead is a business-facing role, primarily accountable for establishing and maintaining the productive and value driven relationship between IT and the business community. The incumbent will support alignment between IT and the business teams and help balance expectations, priorities, service levels and investment. This role will be responsible for collaboration with the technology service owners to create a portfolio of services to meet business requirements.

With a focus on the people side of change, this individual is also responsible for the creation and implementation of change management strategies and plans that maximise faster employee adoption, higher utilisation of and proficiency with the changes; ensuring impacted employee are ready, willing and able.

**Responsibilities**:

- Understand the strategic imperatives, business capabilities, operating model and IT needs of assigned business areas
- Assist business users, project managers, functional analysts and IT leadership in optimising the scope, benefits and risks of proposed projects
- Facilitate the management, planning and governance of technology demand within the commercial teams so that IT service delivery is coordinated and optimized to reflect both the needs of the business area and those of the corporation as a whole
- Assist other IT functions to understand evolving business requirements
- Identify ways to adapt and reuse existing solutions to solve new problems, to create new products and to provide new services to apetito (e.g. innovate)
- Maintain and nurture customer relationships to manage demand, identify requirements, and support the delivery of solutions

NB: The role will be based in Trowbridge at apetito’s business support centre but may involve travel to support the business.
