Contact Centre Call Handler

As a Contact Centre Claims handler you will be responsible for answering incoming FNOL (First notification of loss) and Roadside Assistance calls who may be road side in stressful situations.

You will be required to collate information relating to potential claims, ensuring a complete and accurate description of the accident or incident circumstances is recorded within our database (Activenet).

You will be make some outbound calls on existing claims to the customer and suppliers to ensure a smooth claims process. You will be required to record all instructions and communications relating to the claim file in Activenet in order to retain a full audit trail.
- Provide a first response service to our fleet clients for Accident and Roadside Assistance Calls
- Accurately obtain and record all the relevant details
- Liaise with third party service providers and monitor performance
- Provide excellent customer service at all times
- Ensure Service Level Agreements are adhered to
- Communicate effectively with all team members
- Proactive thinking required to ensure our clients expectations are met at all times
- Good time management
- Customer Service / Call Centre experience preferred
- Vehicle knowledge preferred but not essential
- Good geographical knowledge of the UK
- Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
- Customer focus
- Attention to detail, grammar, punctuation and spelling
- To be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Weekend work & working from home (after training)
- Proactive approach to work
- Work on own initiative
