**About The Role**:
Are you a born organiser who thrives in the fast-paced world of project delivery? Do you have experience using project management tools, and direct project support/coordination experience, or transferable experience from working in a business support function? Are you self-motivated and passionate about ensuring project success?

In this role, you'll be at the forefront of efficient project delivery, providing high quality support to project managers, as well as building and maintaining projects within our financial management system. You will play a vital role in communication with clients and subcontractors, building strong relationships with the project team and with key stakeholders across the APEM Group. Using your knowledge and available tools, you will be responsible for maintaining oversight of project plans, completing project reviews and budget reporting to ensure effective delivery of current and future projects.

As Project Support Officer, you will add tangible value to project delivery, driving improved outcomes through support on projects across the division, including working on national infrastructure projects within the environmental and renewables sector to achieve client needs and build a sustainable future. You’ll also work on broader company-wide initiatives to improve project delivery, supporting process improvement across the business and providing support to internal teams around programme management and associated team reporting. Through your individual strengths and experience, you will shape this diverse and flexible role, and the wider project support function.

**About You**:
For this role, you will need:

- Experience in a business support function, or as direct project support/coordinator
- Experience completing project documentation, and of using project management tools, including programming
- Excellent organisational skills, and IT skills (including Excel) with the ability to quickly learn new systems and tools
- Strong verbal communication skills, able to build and develop relationships at all levels with a friendly and approachable manner.
- Focused and diligent approach to work, alongside keen attention to detail, taking pride in delivering results
