Abatec have a fantastic opportunity for a Health & Safety administrator to join our client, a specialist civil engineering contractor who work within the utilities sector.

Through their strategic partnerships and long-term frameworks, our client provides specialist infrastructure support to the water and wastewater sector. Improving water quality, operational efficiency, and network resilience. Our client works collaboratively with their clients including; Welsh Water, Wessex Water, Bristol Water & South West Water.

**As a Health & Safety Administrator you will**:

- Create health & safety reports as required.
- Be the main point of contact for organising health & safety audits, distributing reports as appropriate.
- Have a flexible approach to problem solving.
- Deal with telephone queries, directing calls to the appropriate officer, taking messages or dealing with the enquiry in a professional and efficient manner.
- Provide support to the SHEQ teams to achieve excellent standards.
- Providing support in relation to document control.

**Our client is looking for a Health & Safety Administrator with**:

- An interest in Health & Safety/Construction.
- Experience in a similar administrative role.
- Computer skills to include Microsoft Office.
- Ability to communicate with a wide range of people, often balancing conflicting requirements
- Ability to organise and be self-motivated

**Salary/Benefits**:

- £25,000 - £30,000 per annum
- 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holiday’s
- Contributory pension scheme
