Are you looking for a challenging role in payroll administration? NXTGEN is working with a leading accountancy practice who is seeking a highly motivated and skilled payroll administrator to join their team on a Part Time basis (25-30 hours per week). In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of weekly, monthly and biweekly payroll for a range of clients, as well as supporting the wider team with various administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities:

- Processing end-to-end payroll for a portfolio of clients
- Calculating and processing statutory payments, such as SMP, SSP and SPP
- Preparing payroll reports for clients and HMRC
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations
- Providing excellent customer service to clients, including responding to queries in a timely and professional manner
- Supporting the wider team with general administrative tasks, as required
- Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing, ideally within an accountancy or payroll bureau environment
- Excellent knowledge of payroll legislation and regulations
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Excel and experience with payroll software
- Ability to work accurately under pressure and to strict deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
