Sales Representative

We are working with our client based in Cumbernauld who is a well-known logistics provider. We are actively looking for an enthusiastic and confident Sales Representative to join their new management team. We are looking for excellent communication skills/ a good telephone manner and a driven/ determined, self-motivated individual, with a background in sales.
**Main responsibilities of the role**:
- Maintaining excellent working relationships with existing customers
- Building and maintaining a steady growth of new customers
- Quoting prices to customers as and when required
- Working closely to a budget as set by the Sales Director
- Close working relationships with suppliers
- Being the first point of contact for customer issues
- Working towards team incentives
- Ensuring repeat customer business
- Negotiating with customers and suppliers to achieve the best price for both the company and the customer
- Self-management of expenses, mileage and budget
- Responsible for own administration
- Attendance at monthly sales meetings
- Self-motivation and drive
- Identifying and developing improvements to your customer area
- Build and maintain a close working relationship with the staff across the company
- Support the Sales Director in the promotion of business mission.
- Ensure that deadlines and objectives, set by the Sales Director, are met
- A strong and continuous focus on business development
- Forward planning for business need
This is not an exhaustive list, and you are required to be flexible in your approach to carrying out your duties which may change time to time in order to reflect business need or for the company’s continuous improvement.

Salary range: £27k to £32k per year
Bonus: P+L based (collective reward)
Car Allowance: up to £4k per year (and Mileage Allowance)

**Experience**:
- Sales: Previous track record in distribution background
**Licence/Certification**:
- Driving Licence (required)
