**HR Manager - progression possible to grow into a Leadership role.**
**Full time, office-based role in Tunbridge Wells + London**
**CIPD Level 5 qualified as a minimum**
**£40k - £45K DOE**
**Main Role**:
Delivering HR activities to a business with approximately 75 employees across several sites. This will include administration all the way through to provision of commercial advice and strategic direction to the Senior Team and Board. This is an excitingopportunity to join an Entrepreneurial lead company and to implement a HR team over time once the goals have been met with the Senior Team and Board.
**Main Duties**:
- Undertaking all HR administration - new starter documentation, compiling information for payroll, managing benefits and all other employee correspondence
- Maintain and champion the newly implemented HR system (PeopleHR) and developing efficiencies and management information.
- Manage all process relating to managing absence, conduct and performance, implement measures & KPI’s with Line Mangers
- Organisation and delivery of the onboarding process for new recruits - enhance this process to give our employees the very best start to their role in the Company
- Provision of advice and support to the Senior Team as well as delivering presentations on strategic initiatives as and when required
- Provision of ongoing coaching and support to Managers and Team Leaders including the delivery of workshop to upskill where appropriate
- Hands on involvement in all recruitment - planning the best approach to attract talent and bringing added value to the process through developing job specific assessment processes
- Support and advise on the process for reviewing performance and career planning - over time, develop and enhance the current process and skills
- To further develop our wellbeing programme for employees
- Ensure all policies and procedures are in line with current legislation and are communicated to employees.
- Working with Managers and Team Leaders to develop effective solutions to bridge skills gaps and to build on strengths.
- Organisational design projects - working with key leaders to establish efficient processes, skills and structure and delivering a plan to implement these.
**Skills & Experience**
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience operating at minimum HR Manager level
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong communication skills - verbal and written.
- Strong numeracy skills
- Current employment legislation knowledge
- Ability to work in a stand-alone role and to define priorities.
- A commercial and pragmatic approach
**Desirable**:
- Knowledge of the travel industry
- Experience of working in an SME
- Experience of ISO (9001 and 14000)
- Experience of the current Investors in People standards and assessment
Process
**Qualifications**
- CIPD qualification - Level 5 or above
- Strong knowledge of Employment Law
