Mental Health Support Worker

An exciting opportunity has become available to work within our growing, specialist mental health service in Brighton and Hove. You will be working with a supportive team, with experienced managed and our own Clinical Psychologist and Behaviour Analyst to give expert support with regular workshops.
Venture-People offer outreach support solutions to individuals with a mental health need, maximising their independence with the right support at the right time. We work in a person-centred and recovery focused approach, steeped in therapeutic optimism.
We are looking for Mental Health Support Workers who will make up a growing team within the **Brighton & Hove Outreach **team.
Your role will be delivering quality support that enables people to achieve their outcomes by using and developing person-centred support plans. You will be able to manage risks and vulnerabilities whilst promoting social inclusion and maximising the opportunities for the people you support.

**Essential Skills**:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Endless patience and empathetic approach
- Able to quickly develop engaging relationships
- You should have a flexible approach that respects individual differences with an ability to work as part of a team as well as independently, using your initiative.
