We are looking for self-motivated individuals to support our Patient Transport Service by ensuring vehicle are cleaned and ready for transportation in Hertfordshire covering Watford and occasionally Stevenage area when required.

This is a vital role ensuring that our patients can be transported in vehicles maintained to the highest standard for their safety and comfort.

This role will involve working in all weathers.

Applicants must hold a valid full UK driving licence (max 3 points) C1 Category is desirable

Shifts - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 06:00 - 16:00 and Sunday 08:00 - 18:00

Performs cleaning duties to promote and maintain a clean and infection-free patient treatment environment to mitigate the potential transmission of Healthcare Associated Infections

Maintains vehicle, estate and facility cleanliness which meets the Trusts audit criterion for Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) in accordance with the Vehicle Cleaning Manual

Prepares resources to meet strict time deadlines and any other operational requirement

Contributes to effective communications with operational staff and other disciplines within the depot and its defined catchment area.

We deliver the patient transport services in Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, north, and west Essex.
