- Primary Medical Qualification
- Completion of Foundation Training
- Full GMC registration with a Licence to Practise

**Experience**:

- Provision of General (Internal) Medical Care to inpatients and outpatients
- Use of audit / quality improvement data to improve practice

**Desirable criteria**:

- Knowledge of databases and electronic health record data utilisation in research

**Skills and Abilities**:

- Excellent consultation skills, and ability to manage difficult conversations
- Excellent written communication, to facilitate transfer of information between teams, and for patients to understand their disease
