Well, we have an exciting opportunity within Central London Community Health (CLCH) for anyone interested in looking for a new challenge This is an opportunity to be part of new services and pathways for patients with Post Covid Syndrome (Long Covid).

The Post Covid Multi-Disciplinary Team for the Inner London boroughs of K&C, Westminster and H&F will consist of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, a Psychologist and Assistant of varying grades). The team will provide assessment, intervention, support, and case management for this cohort of people in the community.

As the Physiotherapist/Occupational Therapist within the Post-Covid Recovery Service you will get to be part of a service delivering care to people (over 18), reporting a wide range of symptoms of Post Covid. Symptoms can include (but not limited to) breathlessness, chronic fatigue, "brain fog", anxiety and stress. These patients may need a programme to support both their physical and mental health wellbeing, if this is something you strive to do in your clinical practice this could be the job for you You would also get the chance to be innovative in your practice, you could assist in developing new group interventions, helping patients access the resources and education they need.

Main duties of the job

To develop skills to be able to triage alongside other AHPs and a GP as part of the triaging team within the NWL Post Covid Single Point Access. This will entail screening and assessing referrals into the service, including gathering medical history from GP records/referrals and identifying if appropriate for Post Covid community MDT or PCAC. Establishing needs priorities and assign to appropriate pathways.

To participate in the rotation/deployment of staff across Post Covid services across NWL to as required to provide cover, mutual aid or mitigation against increasing demand.

To undertake assessment of people with Post-COVID Syndrome including complex multi-pathology amalgamating both physical and mental health illness using a range of assessment tools:
