**The Business**

Our client, a world leading manufacturing business with a global footprint have engaged us to work on a high-priority Accounts Payable role. They are a high growth company with turnover exceeding £50m and very encouraging EBITDA figures for this financial year.

**The Finance Team**

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Accounts Payable Administrator will join a sizeable existing team, a number of whom have been with the business for a good while. The offices are incredibly modern, having received significant investment in recent years offering a comfortable working environment.

**The Role**

This business is seeking an Accounts Payable Administrator who will be responsible for processing supplier invoices, ensuring swift payment inline with suppliers terms. You will also play an active role in handing employee expenses, ensuring they are inline with company policy and paid promptly. Additionally, you will need to maintain the ledgers, investigating any discrepancies and resolving and queries arising out of your work.

You will get involved in:

- Take full responsibility for the Accounts Payable ledger, processing invoices promptly (roughly 250 invoices per month)
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies
- Ensuring expenses are processed and approved in line with the company’s policy and resolve any discrepancies that arise
- Preparing monthly reports relating to aged creditors
- Posting of cash payments and direct debits
- Assist with month end and year end processes
- Assisting with year-end audits including supporting with enquiries, obtaining copies of expenses, invoices and proof been paid
- Other ad hoc duties within the Finance department

**Requirements**:

- Previous accounts payable experience is essential
- Experience using ERP systems is desirable
- Highly organised with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload
- Confident communication skills
- Highly motivated and able to use own initiative

**Benefits**
