Administrator / Administration Assistant who has good organisational, time-management, numeracy, customer service, administrative and communication skills is required for a well-established charity based in Leicester, Leicestershire, East Midlands.
**SALARY**: £12 per Hour
**LOCATION**: Leicester, Leicestershire, East Midlands
**JOB TYPE**: Part-Time, Permanent
**WORKING HOURS**: 25 Hours per Week, Monday to Friday, 9:30am - 2:30pm
JOB OVERVIEW
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an Administrator / Administration Assistant who has good organisational, time-management, numeracy, customer service, administrative and communication skills.
Working as the Administrator / Administration Assistant you will deliver an effective administrative service, supporting the Centre Manager to enable the effective operation of the Centre.
As the Administrator / Administration Assistant you will also act as a point of contact in the absence of the Centre Manager, supporting and/or covering a number of Duty Officer functions when required (additional training will be provided).

DUTIES
Your duties as the Administrator / Administration Assistant include:
Assist the Centre Manager with the administration of the budget, maintaining records of expenditure. Raising purchase orders, checking delivery notes and ensuring that invoices received are checked, verified and processed for payment in line with approved financial policies. Process and maintain records for petty cash
Ensure that monitoring and recording systems are used (computer based and manual) to maintain an up-to-date supplier / contractor list. Supporting the Centre Manager in maintaining an asset register and ordering supplies/stock when required
Supported by the Centre Manager and liaising with other staff, keep records to support reserve parking in order that clinics can take place. Issue parking permits to staff and work with other staff to monitor the ‘goods in’ area
Take responsibility for ensuring that all incoming post is sorted and allocated to tenants and other members of the staff team
Support the wider team ensuring that hireable space is available as booked. Checking spaces regularly to ensure the highest possible standard is maintained and any damage is reported promptly
Actively promote the centre and the services that it offers via a number of channels, in line with the centres marketing strategy. Take responsibility for internal notice boards ensuring they remain tidy and information displayed is relevant and up to date
Undertake personal development in the role from personal and professional purposes
Work effectively as a team member, sharing information, attending team meetings and supporting colleagues in ensuring the facility runs effectively
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Good administrative skills
Computer literate with experience using Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel and Outlook)
Good numeracy skills with a high attention to detail
Good verbal and written communication skills
Friendly and professional manner with great customer service skills
Excellent organisational and time management skills
